Siddu from Sikakulam Review
Cast: Naresh, Manjari Padhnis, Shraddha das, Venu Madhav, L.B Sriram, Jayaprakash Reddy, Ahuti Prasad, Chandramohan, Dharmavarapu, Krishna Bhagwan, and others.
Music: KM Radhakrishnan
Director: Eshwar
Producer: Malla
Vijay Prasad
As expected the film revolves around Naresh and his so called love story, but is narrated in a different way. The comedy touch to the film is well garnished to make it a pleasantry film and the romance and sentiment are sprinkled on it. The glam doll Manjari is well depicted in the film and Shraddha Das is like a breezer to the mass audience.
The film starts with the gimmicks of hero Siddharth (Naresh) who tries to impress the heroine Sailaja (Manjari). Siddu falls in love on the first sight of the heroine and so is always busy planning the next trick to astonish the heroine in every possible way.
At last impressed by his innocent tricks and charms, Sailaja falls in love with Siddu. But unfortunately Sailaja’s father is a factionist by nature which is the character played by Jayaprakash Reddy. His character name is Obul Reddy. He to conquer the whole faction region in Kurnool joins hands with another long time rival and in returns promises to marry his daughter Sailaja to the other factionists’ son. The other factionist’s character name is Bhooma Reddy (Ganga Raju).
Siddu discovers the truth that his beloved Sailaja is a daughter of a dreaded factionist and back off from his love in order to save his family and their lives.
Sailaja on knowing this, challenges with Naresh that, if he accompanies her to her village and stays in their house till the marriage ceremony is completed then she will forget him forever. She also challenges that he cannot suppress his love towards her and will definitely obstruct the marriage.
Siddu aggress to the condition and makes a move to Sailaja’s hometown. There he is seduced by another hot beauty Nisha (Sharddha Das).
The rest of the story is about Naresh going to the home town of Sailaja and how he wins back his love. Sharddha Das in the meantime, falls in love with Naresh.
What happens next is a suspense which must be watched on the big silver screen
Performances
Naresh does his job pretty well. He is getting day by day labeled as a versatile artist of tollywood. His role to be serious through out the film makes the audience laugh to a major extent.
Manjari’ plays her role of Sailaja very well. She looks pretty in salwar suits and also as a eye candy in glam doll costumes.
Shraddha Das is limited as a glam doll in a brief role. Her costumes in this film are hot and sizzling. Adding to this her well bosom and thighs make the mass audience drool over her beauty.
The comedy Track is lead by Dharmavarapu and Ms Narayana with the support of Venu Madhav.
Jayaprakash reddy plays his character role of Obul Reddy very well. He is almost a fixed artist for all factionist roles in tollywood.
The dialect in which the title is pronounced matches accordingly with the dialect of Amalapuram, bheemavaram and all norths Andhra districts.
The music in the film is above average, but lacks some catchy tunes. The direction department is average and the script of the film is predictable and slowly paced. The director must have concentrated on the script more than the characters.
On the whole the movie will run for only 3 weeks time. And more than that will depend on the external aspects such as EVV and his prevalence.

Aditi Sharma
Aditi Sharma plays a bubbly college girl in her debut Telugu film Gundejallumanadi to make an impact down South after not-so-impressive Hindi films. Both her Hindi releases Khanna & Iyer and Black and White won critical acclaim but failed to attract crowds. Considering her jinxed start in Bollywood, she would have been doubly sure before signing her maiden Telugu film to play the love interest of handsome Uday Kiron. It is touted to be a musical romance with loads of entertainment. Already, her good looks and attractive physique have caught the attention of filmmakers. Can this love saga give a fillip to her sagging career?

Post-production work is nearing completion for Gunde Jhallumandi, directed by Madan of Pellaina Kothalo fame, presented by Paruchuri Kireeti and produced by Paruchuri Sivaram Prasad under United Movies banner. Uday Kiran and Aditi Sharma, a former model from Mumbai, are the lead actors.
The shooting was completed recently. The producer said at a recent press meet, “The music of love will be forever young in our hearts. Our film focuses on this and Keeravani has scored some fantastic tunes which will be the highlight of the flick. DTS mixing work is in progress and we will soon announce the film’s release date.”
Navdeep released Gunde Jhallumandi’s music some time ago under Vel Music label and it has received a positive response among the public. Lyrics are by Chaitanya Prasad and Shiva Shakti Datta. The movie has also caused quite a ripple in the industry even before its release as the satellite rights of this small-budget film were sold for a whopping Rs. two crores. This is quite a record when we consider that neither the hero Uday Kiran nor the heroine Aditi Sharma have any significant box office fame, by which a movie would run simply because of the stars.

Salute Movie Review
Cast : Vishal, Nayanatara, Upendra, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Chandra Mohan, Brahmanandam, Ali, Jeeva, Ravi Kale
Music Director : Harris Jayaraj
Producer : Vikram Krishna
Banner : GK Film Corporation
A truly magical and brave action flick triggers everyone’s imagination and the number of people who fall for its hypnotic appeal is so staggering. Salute, hero Vishal’s latest flick is all action and has cast him as a super-hero. However, in addition to perfectly shaping his role, as a hero who is so clear about his skills and reach, Vishal has also understood the potential of his co-stars and has helped them play to their peak in the film. As a result, Salute shimmers with a versatile energy and skills.
Satyam (Vishal) is the assistant commissioner of police who takes charge in the city police station. Tough and straightforward, he is also a warm and caring son devoted to taking care of his physically-challenged mother. At that time, the department is given directions for some urgent and inevitable shooting encounters. But AC Satyam upsets the police plans and saves those menacing rowdies from the police. When everyone is so piqued by his behaviour, Satyam offers an explanation saying that the keepers of law are not supposed to uphold it. The department is convinced by this striking explanation. Apparently, the Chief Minister is unwell and there is a severe tug-of-war that goes on between the next three officials who are in line for the position. Satyam is called in to handle the sudden unrest in the law and order that arises in the state. Meanwhile, the problem takes a threatening shape when one of the power-hungry minions chooses to appoint his goon to eliminate the rest from the race.
When the goon is all set to kill his prey, a third person substitutes for him and carries out the killings. Both the hired assassin and the minister are hassled about the intervention. Knowing their enemy-trail, they suspect the third surviving minister as the quiet culprit. But soon, he also becomes a prey to the killer’s unfailing target. Sensing trouble, the minister ropes Satyam in for his protection and for the investigation of the murders. Satyam digs through the maze and while getting through his mission to track down his final victim, Satyam meets the killer face-to-face.
An ensuing flashback reveals the background of the killer as well as his connection with the super cop. What is the connection? In what way is he linked to Satyam’s sad past? Does it reveal Satyam’s steep and gruelling climb to the top? Has the meeting revived any old confrontations? Has the rethink brought any sad truths to the surface? Do Satyam’s usual stratagems work in toning down the killer’s angst and goal? Who wins at last, Satyam, the principled cop, the merciless picador or the blood-thirsty bunch who is all set to clamber to the top? Watch the action extravaganza to know!
At the prime of his career, Vishal has indeed entered a challenging domain and his hard work and action spell nothing else but success! Watching him on the move-making those adroit moves and stunning action bits which pack so much perseverance and control or making those fluent knock-outs, cuts and thrusts in the manner and style of a master fighter is to know what real action is all about. Nayantara is one who adds gloss to each and every frame of Salute. But here, as the smart video journalist, Nayan too has a significant role to play. Upendra’s character is one which brings in the surprise element in the story. Watch the movie to know all about it. However, the multitalented actor too has given a sterling performance in Salute.
The cinematography particularly in the Vishal-Nayan hot song sequence as well as all through the action scenes is just amazing. Music, particularly the re-recording bits are wonderful and effective to stir excitement. The sudden twists and sharp and surprising turns happen to be the strength of the movie. Director Rajesekar’s eloquent and thrill-a-minute touches are indeed remarkable.
Honest policeman Satyam’s rise, projected from his humble beginnings has in fact packed so much punch and style that it is impossible to imagine him in just one assigned role. He makes the strong impression of a super-hero cum cop. Salute is indeed a spectacular production from the GK Films Corporation stables. Of course, the movie’s success will be shared equally by each and everyone who have worked with the profound involvement in chiselling the action saga!

Baladhoor Movie Review
Cast: Superstar Krishna, Ravi teja, Anushka, Brahmanandham, Chandramohan, Pradeep Rawat and others.
Music: Radhakrishnan
Director: Uday Shanker
Producer: D. Suresh Babu
The film opens showing Ravi teja in his usual style as a mass hero. But afterwards gets into a shade of a family entertainer with lots of sentiment and hi drama is induced into it. Ravi Teja is seen as a man with errands in this film. The natural vigor and exuberance of Ravi Teja gets omitted in this film to a large extent. The director brings in his wits to carve this subject into a strict family entertainer with some light Charisma of Anushka. Some sequences depict the shades of Ravi Teja’s previous hit ‘Badra’
Chanti (Ravi teja) grows up in the house of Peddanna (Krishna), as his mother dies in his childhood. His father Chandramohan is like a patron to the family and so Ravi teja and his father Chandramohan worship Superstar Krishna as the godfather of their lives.
Peddanna (Superstar Krishna) is a rich and well famed proprietor of a construction firm RK Builders. He is well settled in the business and earns wealth and name from the society.
He always helps the people who are in need and always serves them financially or materialistically. This good deed in him makes Pradeep Rawat his family enemy. He hates Peddanna’s (Krishna) good deeds and always finds ways to suppress him.
The reason for Pradeep Rawat’s hatred towards Peddanna (Krishna) is due to a well explained flash back. Pradeep Rawat during his young Days Rapes a young girl in a village. As a result Krishna as the head of the village gives him a punishment to vacate the village. From that day the hatred seed grows in the heart of Pradeep Rawat and Peddanna (Krishna) is always made the target to be suppressed.
Meanwhile, Chanti loves his Peddanna (Krishna) very much and obeys his each and every word and saying. More than his father Chanti respects Peddanna in such a way that he lives for him and also dies for him.
Peddanna’s family is always a target to Pradeep Rawat’s evil deeds. The troubles are projected in all ways towards Peddanna, but the cleverly aged person evades each one carefully.
Due to an unfortunate incident, Ravi teja is misunderstood by the whole family and his father Chandramohan drives him away from the family and the home. Incidentally, Bhanumathi (Anushka) enters Chanti’s life in a railway station. She gets attracted to the innocence and dynamism of Ravi Teja and so falls in love with him.
Meanwhile, Ravi teja takes the total responsibility of Peddanna and his family on his shoulders. He shields them from the evil plots of Pradeep Rawat and his goons. However, he losses his father Chandramohan in this process. But Chandramohan realizes before dying that his son is now a well matured, wise male who can handle precarious situations very well. He gets satisfied and looses his soul.
The rest of the story is about the plots of Pradeep Rawat against Peddanna and how Chanti saves the lives of Peddanna and his family. All ends happily in the end.
Performances
Superstar Krishna is the highlight in this movie. His dynamic appearance as the village head makes the audience happy. With a well weaved role, Krishna exhilarates in the lengthy Character. The matured performance of Krishna and his well matched impeccable acting skills are truly a highlight in this movie.
Ravi Teja, attracts the masses in the first half of then movie. But due to the twits and turns the second half role of his, becomes serious and classy. However, his usual masala romance with Anushka is well maintained through out the film. The pair looks comfortable on screen and some romantic scenes and rain songs are mid blowing.
Anushka has turned into a sizzling hottie in this film. The extra flab around her wait has been drained out and so the seductive actress looks sexy in every frame. Especially her rain song wearing a bikini sized costume will definitely heat the pants of her male fans.
Chandramohan has lived up his role in style and has justified to his character by his impeccable acting.
The comedy track is lead by Brahmanandham and Co. The scene in which Brahmanandham breaks the coconut is hilarious. Adding to this Sunil who plays the role of a best friend to the hero supports the comedy track well.
Coming to the music part, the tunes are not so catchy. But the choreography is worth mentioning. They are well filmed in the camera and the dance steps and the actress costumes add the fizz to the songs.
On the whole the director Uday Shanker brings in comedy, sentiment, romance and action under one roof and also succeeds in doing so to a large extent. The story of the film replicates the films which released in the seventies genre.
The film will be a treat for Ravi Teja’s fans and since the weekend is packed with holidays the movie may gets some investments. It is a movie which can run for 50 days. And if the superstar and Ravi teja Fans determine, then it may cross the 100 day barrier.
