Anu Mehta arrested in Chennai

Anu Mehta shot into fame after Arya, where she paired with Allu Arjun. Later she did not have many films and she sank into oblivion.

According to sources, Anu is said to have fallen into bad ways. With nothing much to do, she reportedly went to a resort in Chennai along with her female and male friends for a weekend party.

Anu and her friends are said to have been dead drunk and picked up a quarrel with some staff of the resort.

On a complaint made by the resort management, police raided the resort room where Anu’s party was going on and arrested her and her friends.

Launch of KBL audio on 23rd August

The audio of the film Kotha Bangaru Lokam in which Varun Sandesh is playing the lead is scheduled to be launched on 23rd August. The film is produced by Dil Raju and directed by Srikant. This is debut directorial venture of Srikant. The music for the film is scored by Mickey J.Mayer. The film is projected for release on 2nd October.

Mallanna: 80% shooting done

Almost 80% of Mallana’s shooting has been wrapped up. After a hectic month-long shoot in Mexico, the unit flew to Hyderabad and commenced the final schedule. Mallana, starring Vikram and Shriya Saran, is being shot at Devi Home guest house located in the posh Jubilee Hills area in Hyderabad.

Krishna, Telugu film industry’s definitive super star has a very important role in the film directed by Susi Ganesh and produced by Kalaipuli Thanu under V Creations banner. The Tamil version, Kanthaswamy, is being produced by Kalaipuli International production house.

Vikram and director Sushi Ganeshan met the media in Hyderabad and spoke about their out-of-this-world entertainer. Vikram said, "80% of the shooting has been wrapped up. This is first time an Indian film (Kanthaswamy/ Mallana) was shot on location in Mexico, where we shot two song sequences and a bull fight. We are giving a very stylish treatment, along with a powerful message, to the movie. My role has the feel of an Indian James Bond. Though I appear in many guises, all of them are situational according to the storyline. Very soon, my lady getup will be shot in Hyderabad. Presently, some scenes that involve the heroine’s house are being canned. Apart from the superb stunts, the highlight is Devi Sri Prasad’s music. We plan to release the film in December.”

Director Sushi Ganeshan also seconded Vikram’s opinions and said the film is being produced with an eye to upholding technical values; the highlight of the technical side of the shoot is the balloon lighting, which gives a tangential effect pleasing to the eye.

Sri Hari’s “Poru” has been stared

real star Sri Hari played lead roles in many movies and by them he also able to acquire his recognisation over here. He played second lead in the movie “Dee” with Vishnu Vardhan Babu and in this movie he was seen playing a very intresting role and by this he received very huge praisings from various cineprofessionals all over the industry. Balakrishna with NTR in his next film

Babai Nandamuri Balakrishna with be acting with his son Ntr in the latter’s next film. According to our reporter Bannu, Balakrishna will be doing a major role in Ntr next film under VV Vinayak direction.


Vinayak and Ntr requested Balakrishna to act in their film and the Natasimham obliged their request. The main reason for this is the re-union between Nandamuri family members and Jr Ntr. This re-union was a part of political agenda of Chandra Babu Naidu in making the Nandamuri clan campaign for his Telugu Desam party.

Mamta Mohan Das admits sexual harassment

Mamta Mohan Das, in a recent interview has hinted that she was pressurized a lot to do the drenching scene in her coming film ‘Homam’. She also admitted that JD Chakravarthi along with Jagapathi Babu severely pleaded her for 3 days to expose a lot in the film. Though the whole film will not show Mamta’s skin show, one song with Jagapathi babu will expose Mamta’s inner wear. She also admitted that her family felt embarrassed when the photos were being circulated by the media and when the phone calls came pouring in.

Mamta also disclosed that, she was traumatized when the photo stills exposed her skin show a little bit than usual and also said that she will never again do such bold scenes in future.

However, the slender beauty evaded the question that ‘Was she sexually harassed by JD Chakravarthi during her HOMAM shoot? She murmured no comments on this
