Launch of ‘Black & White’ audio
The music of the film ‘Black and White’ was launched at Prasad Labs on 20th August. The film is enacted by Rajiv Kanakala and Sindhu Tolani in the lead and directed by Srikant Vemulapalli. This is the directorial debut of Srikant. The movie is produced by Uday Kiran on Maitri Films banner. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff plays the role of a sleuth. The film is of thriller genre and is all set to hit the screens on 22nd August. The music of the film is scored by Vijay Kurakula. The initial audio cassette was launched by M.M.Keeravani who presented the same to N.Kalyanram who presented the CD to the latter. Speaking on the occasion Keeravani said that the song of the film which blended with Indian as well as Western tunes is composed with utmost perfection. The lyric penned down by Vanamali is indeed praise worthy.

Sowryam, the Gopichand-Anushka starrer, directed by cinematographer-turned-director Siva and produced by V Ananda Prasad under Bhavya Creations has completed the shooting of talkie part.
Shooting of the song sequences is in brisk progress in Hyderabad. Director said, “Our unit is leaving for Switzerland to choreograph the rest of the songs with which we will wrap up the shooting. We are sure that the film will attract both the youth and the mass audiences equally.”
The producer is making efforts to release the film in the second half of September. The producer said the film revolves around the exploits of a daredevil youth who attains his powerful goal.
Poonam Kaur, who played heroine in Mayajalam and Oka Vitchitram, is portraying the role of the hero's sister in this movie. Dialogues are by M. Ratnam, lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla, camera is by Vetri while music is by Mani Sharma.

Vikram’s grand experience
Vikram is very much pleased about his participation in the Hindi film to be directed by Mani Ratnam, which stars Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. He says it will be a grand, valuable, and unique experience.
Mani Ratnam is making a film in Hindi and Tamil. In Hindi, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are the lead actors and in Tamil, Vikram and Aishwarya Rai play the lead roles. Vikram also plays a prominent role in the Hindi version, the details of which are kept under wraps and which Vikram was not willing to share.
Vikram said he is not just happy, he is very excited to share screen space with two great actors of Bollywood – Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai – in his very first Hindi film. He said this film will make him prominent in Bollywood; he has no dreams of acting in Bollywood films though. He added that his Hindi is excellent, but he does not think he will be able to match either of these actors in dialogue delivery as it is not his mother tongue. But he said that he will definitely work on matching them in dialogue delivery.
Vikram and the Bachchan couple will be starring in the historic project that Mani Ratnam has signed with Anil Ambani’s Reliance Big Picture Entertainment for a breathtaking Rs.120 crores. This mega project will be produced simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

Farzana as item girl in 'Mallepuvvu'
Sexy starlet Farzana has been roped in to play the hot number in Bhumika starrer Mallepuvvu. Farzana, the glam doll of Tollywood, is reportedly paid huge amount to do this special song which is being shot very aesthetically. The song “Naato Vastava..” comes at crucial segment of the film and requires a star with ample sex appeal, hence she is roped in.
Presently, the song is being canned in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad at Athadu house. The film’s music by maestro Ilayaraja has already been very popular.

From Deepika Padukone to Ileana, many top rung heroines were considered for Mahesh Babu’s new film. Even some new faces were short-listed. But finally, it is Parvati Melton who is chosen for the main lead opposite Mahesh in this two-heroine film.
